My article in the April 2015 issue of Servo Magazine describes how I use a robotics construction system to build a workshop robot that saves me a lot of time. Lots of robot kits are great for building demos and prototypes but I needed one that could do real work.
I selected the Actobotics building system and to try it out I built a little machine that automatically measures and cuts lead wires that I use in my projects. Click on the title page image at the right to see the entire article.
After I finished this, I immediately started a similar automation project for cutting pieces of packaging foam. You can see the complete project here at Instructables.
